We had an amazing day Saturday 2nd February at The Lexicon Library in Dun Laoghaire celebrating Chinese New Year with over 2,500 in attendance during the Family Day.

Go Fly Your Kite along with local traders spilt out onto the streets of Folktown to highlight and celebrate the wealth of independent retailers and variety of goods and services on offer in the area. Everyone had an opportunity to design their own Halloween kite.
Go Fly Your Kite joined other social enterprises from Ards and North Down Borough Council area to showcase their goods and services to the local community.
Go Fly Your Kite were invited to showcase their STEM workshop as part of 2018 New Scientist Live. Over 80,000 visitors had the opportunity to discover the Cosmos, Earth, Humans, Technology and Engineering zones and hear thought provoking talks from leading world scientists. Go Fly Your Kite delivered a number of workshops each day allowing school children an opportunity of interactive learning in a fun way.
More than 10,000 visitors enjoyed a packed programme of foodie events, demos, workshops and live music on the shores of Loch Ryan. Go Fly Your Kite had hundreds of children designing kites inspired by all things from the sea. Afterwards there was the opportunity to spend time flying their kites along the head of the loch.
Everything Minecraft and gaming were drawn on kites during the MineVention event at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn. This was the first time that Go Fly Your Kite had delivered workshops at the Lisburn exhibition centre and as it can be seen hundreds of gamers enjoyed the opportunity of designing and flying their own kites.
Go Fly Your Kite workshop attracted over 400 participants at the Family Fun Day at Knock Shrine. This annual day to celebrate one of God’s greatest gifts the family had everyone designing their own kites prior to the visit to the Marian Shrine by Pope Francis.
